This raises the concern of preserving cultural knowledge, which we need to interact with and embody to make it last. In 'Song for A Lost Dynasty (末代之歌)' modern and innovative textile techniques are combined with traditional crafts. Such methods include using thermo-reactive textiles, screenprints, and embroidery. These textiles interact with the wearer's body heat to transform and disappear, symbolising the intimate and enlivening encounter with culture that is needed for culture to be passed on.
